Trina Hunt-Scott founded Action Sports & Recreational Center in October 2019, bringing with her a deep commitment to supporting individuals with special needs. A native of Alabama turned proud Texan, Trina graduated from Sam Houston High School in San Antonio, later earning a Bachelor's Degree from Columbia College and two Master's Degrees from Webster University.
She is happily married and a dedicated mother to a special needs adult son, who participates in various sports with Special Olympics Texas. Trina’s career spans over 20 years of honorable service in the United States Navy, along with impactful roles as a substitute teacher, Tricare Health Beneficiary Advisor, and case manager for the U.S. Army Wounded Warriors at Fort Sam Houston.
An avid San Antonio Spurs fan and a Director of the Spurs Baseline Bums, Trina also serves as an active board member at her local church and a member of the American Legion Post. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, spending time with family, and giving back to her community. With her extensive knowledge and passion, Trina brings unparalleled energy and dedication to Action Sports & Recreational Center, where she is thrilled to lead and inspire growth for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
